Went to get ready for bed Sunday night when my water broke.
Thought that it was most likely a false alarm, but the more I moved, the more fluid I lost. Called the OB who asked that I go to L&D. Went to be monitored and it was like a movie scene the amount of fluid I lost. They immediately admitted me and did a test to make sure it was AF I lost. It came back positive in 60 seconds. Dr decided to induce. My cervix was closed, thick and high. After much Pitocin, 22 1/2 hours if labor, 1/2 hour of pushing (no tearing!!) Baby Everette arrived small but lively. He's doing great! Breathing on his own and eating well. He's being kept in the special care nursery to monitor his breathing,
